This is on Cybil's recycled recumbent, at the point one of the bottom tubes was brazed, one into another. The bike is steel, powdercoated. Is this a spot where it wasn't properly cleaned? Flux? Not sure why it seems to have effluoresced and burst through the coating. I'm hoping just grinding / buffing it away and recoating with yellow paint will fix it.

brazing flux peeled off
sometimes when cleaning with a wire wheel or the like flux will gloss up and appear to be removed when it's not
water soak for a few hours softens flux for easier removal.

I'll try a little soak if I can with a compress since it's not really possible to submerge this frame (without a swimming pool), then abrade it off, prime and shoot with mostly matching yellow.
